Roger W. Garrett
Roger founded the R.W. Garrett Agency, Inc. in 1982. He calls on his 35+ years of experience as a business owner, successful entrepreneur and insurance producer to guide the Agency in responding to and satisfying the needs of agents and their customers. Roger oversees the sales division and is instrumental in plan analysis, underwriting and strategic planning. He has served on advisory boards for BlueCross and BlueShield of IL and Principal Financial Group.
Nancy provides expertise in communication and administration of benefit plans. Her many years of experience in the financial and insurance industries provides our customers with quality service, problem resolution and thoughtful, thorough account management. She is an integral part of the leadership of our large group benefit programs with an emphasis in self-funding and compliance.

Joshua Garrett, REBC
Joshua has worked in the Health and Life industry since 1998 and has served as the Legislative Chairman of Illinois State Association of Health Underwriters since 2018. He attended the 2021 UBA Producer Academy.

Kathi joined the agency in the administrative arena then over the years progressively took over office management and human resource duties. Throughout her career she has worn many hats, including sales and customer service. She works closely with senior management and focuses on keeping everything running smoothly to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

Sara returns to us with over 20+ years in HR and Employee Benefits experience. Through her career, she focuses on providing excellent customer service and remaining up to date on the latest regulation and trends. Sara also attended the 2020 and 2021 UBA Account Manager Academy.

All our employees who work with customers are required to become licensed insurance producers. Our team has to wear many hats and are trained to respond to inquires from the brokers we work with, the insurance companies we do business with, business owners, plan administration and employees of our customers.
Our Service Area
Because we are head quartered in our small community, it might be perceived that we work in a smaller geographical area. Quite the contrary. While we service many customers in Logan County, our central location allows us to represent about 2500 individual clients and employer groups throughout the state and surrounding states.
